TicketLater Buyer Guarantee, Purchase & Refund Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

TicketLater is committed to giving buyers a simple, secure, and reliable ticket-buying experience. This policy explains how ticket purchases, delivery, refunds, event changes, and order issues are handled. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. TicketLater Buyer Guarantee

When you purchase tickets through TicketLater, we guarantee that:

  • Your tickets will be valid for entry.
  • Your tickets will be delivered before the event.
  • Your order will be processed securely.
  • If there is a problem with your tickets, TicketLater will work to provide comparable replacement tickets or, if replacement tickets are not available, issue a refund according to this policy.

If an issue occurs, TicketLater must be notified as soon as possible so we can investigate and help resolve the matter.

2. All Sales Are Final

All ticket sales are final once an order is placed.

Because tickets are time-sensitive and prices can change based on market demand, TicketLater does not provide refunds, cancellations, or exchanges because:

  • You can no longer attend the event.
  • You purchased the wrong tickets.
  • You found cheaper tickets elsewhere.
  • The ticket price changed after your purchase.
  • You changed your mind.
  • The performer, team, lineup, opener, or participants changed.
  • Weather, travel, parking, or personal circumstances prevent you from attending.

Refunds are only available where required by law or where expressly covered by the TicketLater Buyer Guarantee or this policy.

3. Ticket Delivery

Ticket delivery timing varies by event, venue, seller, and ticket type.

Tickets may be delivered by:

  • Mobile transfer
  • PDF download
  • QR code or barcode
  • External ticket link
  • Email transfer
  • Venue or seller delivery instructions
  • Other digital delivery method

Some tickets may not be available immediately after purchase. In some cases, tickets may be delivered closer to the event date. If your tickets are pending delivery, your order confirmation or order status page will provide the latest available delivery information.

TicketLater is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect buyer contact information, failure to accept a ticket transfer, email filtering, spam folders, device issues, or failure to follow ticket transfer instructions.

4. Mobile Transfer Tickets

Many tickets are delivered through mobile transfer from the original ticket provider, venue, team, or marketplace.

If your tickets are delivered by mobile transfer, you may need to:

  • Create or log into an account with the original ticket provider.
  • Accept the ticket transfer using the same email address used at checkout.
  • Add tickets to your mobile wallet.
  • Present tickets on a mobile device at the venue.

Failure to accept a mobile transfer does not qualify for a refund if the tickets were delivered properly and in time for the event.

5. Guest Checkout & Order Access

TicketLater may allow buyers to check out as guests without creating an account.

Guest buyers are responsible for entering a valid email address and phone number at checkout. Order confirmations, ticket delivery details, and support communications will be sent to the contact information provided at checkout.

Guest buyers may receive a secure order access link by email. This link allows the buyer to view order status and ticket delivery information.

If a guest buyer later creates a TicketLater account using the same verified email address, eligible past orders may be added to that account.

6. Incorrect Email or Contact Information

Buyers are responsible for entering accurate contact information at checkout.

If you entered the wrong email address or phone number, contact TicketLater support immediately. TicketLater may require verification before updating delivery information or resending ticket access.

TicketLater is not responsible for missed ticket delivery caused by incorrect buyer information.

7. Canceled Events

If an event is officially canceled and not rescheduled, TicketLater will provide a refund or other available remedy according to applicable law, supplier rules, and TicketLater's cancellation process.

Refunds for canceled events may be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Service fees, processing fees, delivery fees, or other fees may be refundable or non-refundable depending on the specific event, supplier rules, and applicable law.

An event is not considered canceled unless officially canceled by the venue, team, artist, promoter, league, organizer, or other authorized event authority.

8. Postponed or Rescheduled Events

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your tickets will generally remain valid for the new date, time, or venue.

Postponed or rescheduled events do not automatically qualify for a refund.

TicketLater will follow the applicable event organizer, venue, supplier, and marketplace rules for postponed or rescheduled events. If refund options become available, TicketLater will communicate available options to eligible buyers.

9. Event Changes

Event details may change after purchase, including:

  • Date
  • Time
  • Venue
  • Lineup
  • Supporting acts
  • Starting players
  • Participants
  • Seating arrangements
  • Entry requirements

These changes do not automatically qualify for a refund unless the event is officially canceled and not rescheduled, or unless otherwise required by law.

10. Comparable Replacement Tickets

If TicketLater determines that your purchased tickets are unavailable, invalid, or cannot be delivered in time for the event, TicketLater may attempt to provide comparable replacement tickets.

Comparable replacement tickets may be determined based on factors such as:

  • Event
  • Section
  • Row
  • Seat quality
  • Quantity
  • Price level
  • Venue location
  • Availability at the time of replacement

If comparable replacement tickets are not available, TicketLater may issue a refund.

TicketLater reserves the right to determine what qualifies as comparable replacement tickets in good faith.

11. Invalid Tickets or Entry Issues

If your tickets are denied at the venue, you must contact TicketLater support immediately and provide documentation, which may include:

  • Order number
  • Ticket screenshots
  • Venue denial notice
  • Written statement from venue staff, if available
  • Photos or videos showing the issue
  • Time and location of attempted entry

TicketLater will investigate the issue. If TicketLater determines that the tickets were invalid or failed under the TicketLater Buyer Guarantee, TicketLater may provide a refund or other remedy.

TicketLater may deny a claim if the issue was caused by:

  • Late arrival
  • Failure to follow ticket instructions
  • Failure to accept a mobile transfer
  • Attempting entry at the wrong gate, venue, date, or time
  • Screenshots not accepted by the venue
  • Device, internet, app, or wallet issues
  • Violation of venue rules
  • Buyer error or misuse

12. Refund Timing

Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Refund timing may depend on:

  • Payment processor
  • Buyer's bank or card issuer
  • Event organizer or supplier refund timing
  • Marketplace processing time
  • Fraud or dispute review
  • Applicable law

Refunds may take several business days or longer to appear on your statement after they are issued.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have an issue with an order, contact TicketLater support first so we can attempt to resolve it.

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute may delay resolution. TicketLater reserves the right to suspend order access, account access, or support processing while a chargeback or payment dispute is under review.

Fraudulent disputes may result in account restriction or legal action.

14. Fees

Ticket prices may include or be subject to taxes, service fees, processing fees, delivery fees, or other charges.

The total price will be shown before checkout is completed.

Fees help cover payment processing, platform operations, ticket sourcing, customer support, fraud prevention, and order fulfillment.

15. Taxes

Applicable taxes may be calculated and added at checkout based on the event, buyer location, seller location, ticket type, or other relevant rules.

Tax amounts may vary by jurisdiction and transaction.

16. Order Review and Fraud Prevention

TicketLater reserves the right to review, delay, cancel, or refund any order for security, fraud prevention, inventory, pricing, compliance, or supplier-related reasons.

TicketLater may require additional verification before fulfilling certain orders.

Orders may be canceled if TicketLater determines that:

  • Payment is unauthorized or suspicious.
  • Buyer information cannot be verified.
  • Tickets are unavailable.
  • Pricing or inventory errors occurred.
  • The order violates TicketLater policies.
  • The transaction creates legal, financial, or operational risk.

17. Inventory and Pricing Errors

Ticket inventory and pricing may change quickly.

TicketLater works to keep listings accurate, but errors may occur. TicketLater reserves the right to cancel and refund an order if tickets are unavailable, incorrectly priced, incorrectly listed, or otherwise unable to be fulfilled.

If this happens, TicketLater may offer replacement tickets where available or issue a refund.

18. Support

For order support, buyers should contact TicketLater using the support options provided on the website, order confirmation email, or order status page.

When contacting support, include:

  • Order number
  • Buyer email
  • Event name
  • Description of the issue
  • Screenshots or documentation, if applicable

TicketLater will review the issue and respond as soon as reasonably possible. Contact support@ticketlater.com or visit our Support page.

19. Policy Updates

TicketLater may update this policy from time to time. The version posted on the TicketLater website at the time of purchase will generally apply to that purchase unless otherwise required by law.

20. Summary

TicketLater's goal is simple:

You should receive valid tickets in time for your event.

If there is a legitimate ticket delivery or validity issue, TicketLater will work to provide comparable replacement tickets or a refund. Otherwise, all sales are final.
